Meet Me
I’m Akshar Chauhan, a mechanical engineer and aspiring roboticist inspired by the elegance of machines and their ability to transform how we live and work. For me, every mechanism tells a story—of motion, force, and precision—and I’m driven to uncover how these stories can shape the future of robotics.
Having completed my Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering at Nirma University, I am now pursuing my Master’s in Robotics and Intelligent Autonomous Systems at the University of Cincinnati. Along the way, I have explored robotics not only as a technical challenge but also as a means to create purposeful, intelligent systems that enhance human life.

My Journey in Robotics
Innovative Projects and Research for Human-Centered Robotics
My work spans across autonomous stair-climbing carriers, underwater exploration vehicles, and assistive rehabilitation devices, all designed with the goal of reducing repetitive human effort. I also collaborated with a professor in biology to simulate bat-inspired swarm navigation, using MATLAB and Pololu 3pi+ robots to study collision-free collective movement.
Whether it’s reconfigurable carriers, exoskeleton-inspired assistive systems, or biologically inspired swarm robots, I aim to build solutions where mechanics and intelligence blend seamlessly—robots that enhance safety, expand human capabilities, and create meaningful impact.
